Dils advises on the sale of two assets within the Castel San Giovanni logistics hub

The two buildings were sold by DIE Italy SICAF S.p.A. managed by IQ EQ Fund Management Limited for Deka Immobilien to Savills Investment Management 

Dils acted as commercial advisor in the sale process of two logistics assets located within the Castel San Giovanni Park in the province of Piacenza (North of Italy). The assets were sold by DIE Italy SICAF S.p.A. managed by IQ EQ Fund Management Limited for Deka Immobilien to Savills Investment Management on behalf of institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Fully let to three major international 3PL companies, the two warehouses have a gross floor area of approximately 100,000 sqm and 65,000 sqm respectively, and benefit from direct connection to the recently re-inaugurated railway line.

The BREEAM Very Good assets, featuring modern, Grade A, technical specification, will further benefit from a retro-fit plan aimed at improving performance, sustainability and ESG credentials, thus future-proofing the properties and reducing the need for development on new sites to satisfy strong occupier demand for high quality logistics space.

The logistics park of Castel San Giovanni has always been recognized as the hub of excellence in North of Italy, not only by leading international supply chain operators but also by major players in the retail and e-commerce sectors. Developed over an area of nearly 2,000,000 sqm, with approximately 1,000,000 sqm of warehouses, this logistics hub is not only one of the largest in Europe but is also considered one of the most strategic, thanks especially to its position close to the A21 motorway (Turin-Piacenza-Brescia) tollgate, ensuring fast connections to the two main northern Italian motorways as known as the A1 (Milan-Naples) and A7 (Milan-Genoa).
