GVA Redilco acted as exclusive advisor in the letting of the new One Mars Office, in the south of Milan in the heart of Symbiosis, the new business district developed by Covivio. The offices will house Mars, Royal Canin e AniCura, as well as the south Europe Multisales Cluster headquarters.
Mars, which will occupy 2,500 sqm within building D, has decided to move its headquarters to one of the most innovative and green areas of the city in order to bring together Royal Canin Italia (the group is company leader in the production of high-end nutrition for cats and dogs) and AniCura (a network of hospitals and veterinary clinics specialized in pet care, part of Mars Petcare). The strategic choice of a common headquarters for the three brands, where the organization starting with its people can be increasingly interconnected, represents one of the most virtuous cases for the Group.
Located in the North part of the site which runs along Via Orobia, the office building, due to be completed by the end of 2021, is already 50% pre-let to Boehringer Ingelheim - one of the largest pharmaceutical companies globally - in addition to the three Mars Group companies. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the iconic asset consists of two buildings, the lowest comprising three storeys and the highest eight, for a total of about 20,000 sqm overlooking landscaped spaces and fountains. The offices are designed to meet the highest quality and efficiency standards and offer flexible configurations, alternating between open plan and individual offices, large versatile shared spaces and ample terraces conceived as places for socializing.
The property will be LEED Core & Shell, Platinum score certified, and aims to achieve the minimum WELL Core Bronze score. It will also be one of the first buildings to obtain the WELL Health Safety rating which guarantees occupants the adoption of measures to protect health and safety.
